If you’re wandering around feeling lost and you’re not sure what to do next…simply do nothing.
Don’t try to force anything to happen. Just go about your day, do things that bring you joy and know that you deserve something better…even if you don’t yet know what that is.
Often being in the space of “nothingness” is a very powerful time because you’re not connected to anything and you’re not expecting anything. You’re simply living in the now moment.
And that’s precisely when a new idea will hit, or a thought will come out of nowhere. That’s when you’ll get to try on new intentions for yourself to see how they will feel.
Not knowing where you are going or what to do next is a truly great place to be in…even if it doesn’t feel that way. It’s because your life needs to go in a new direction and you’ve reached the time in between to sort of “catch your breath” if you will.
So cook up your favorite meal, read a book you’ve been putting off reading or take a drive somewhere. Do something that you want to do and that will make you happy. Because that is the only thing that you can control right now.
At night before you go to bed or during your shower, ask the Universe what your next step is. Then be willing to patiently wait for an answer to come to you. It may come right then and there or in a few days when you least expect it.
When the time is right you will know exactly what to do next. You’ll get an idea and you’ll research it which could lead to other ideas. So embrace your down time knowing that this will pass and you are exactly where you need to be at this very moment in time.
